Responsibilities
Develop, review, and update facility/construction standards and specifications for mechanical, electrical, civil, and architectural systems
Collaborate with design, planning, manufacturing, and projects teams to finalize standards and specifications
Monitor industry trends, global trends, and building performance data to update standards as needed
Manage multiple standards projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion
Provide guidance on standards and specifications to internal teams
Document and maintain records related to all standards and specifications
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
5-10 years of relevant experience
Proven experience in standards development, engineering implementation, or quality assurance (5+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ASHRAE, IBC, NFPA)
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar PDF editing software
Preferred
Direct experience with construction standards and specifications
Proficiency with standards management software or tools
