Responsibilities
Lead power validation for smart glasses case systems and subsystems
Define validation plans, test coverage, and pass/fail criteria
Perform system-level electrical analysis (power rails, regulators, batteries, charging paths)
Execute hands-on lab debugging using oscilloscopes, power meters, DMMs, logic analyzers, etc
Conduct failure analysis for power-related issues (battery degradation, charging anomalies, component failures)
Partner with cross-functional teams to turn findings into design, firmware, or process improvements
Support manufacturing and sustaining efforts (yield issues, field returns, production test gaps)
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (EMC, safety)
Produce clear technical documentation and executive-ready summaries
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
Strong hands-on power validation and lab debugging experience
Deep understanding of power integrity, efficiency, noise, transient response, and stability
Experience with consumer electronics or wearables
Proficient with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power meters, electronic loads, DMMs)
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
Preferred
Power validation experience in battery-powered wearable systems
Automated power testing or scripting (Python, LabVIEW, similar)
NPI or manufacturing validation experience
