8+ years expConfidential is an award-winning interior design firm located in Miami, and they are seeking a Senior Interior Designer who is both highly creative and exceptionally organized. This role will manage complex projects from concept through installation while directing Interior Designers in task prioritization and execution.

Responsibilities
Lead all phases of design from concept development through construction administration and installation
Direct and prioritize work for Interior Designers, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and accountability across deliverables
Serve as a primary design liaison with contractors, electricians, plumbers, window and door vendors, and other trades
Develop and present refined design concepts, FF&E palettes, and client presentations
Oversee custom millwork and furniture design, detailing, and coordination with fabricators
Maintains a strong working knowledge of applicable codes
Coordinate schedules, budgets, and procurement in collaboration with procurement and project management teams
Contribute to and help develop internal systems, workflows, and documentation to improve studio efficiency
Stay engaged with new technologies, materials, and tools—including AI—relevant to design and documentation
Continuously train design judgment through exposure to art, architecture, and adjacent creative disciplines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
8–10 years of experience in high-end residential design
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead designers effectively
Strong technical knowledge, including codes, detailing, and construction coordination
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp (Rhino a plus)
Exceptional organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
Comfortable working directly with trades and presenting confidently to clients
Curious, systems-minded, and motivated to improve how design work is executed
Based in or willing to relocate to Miami; occasional travel may be required
