Responsibilities

Lead and support capital and expense projects from concept to implementation
Collaborate with operations to identify and execute process improvements
Analyze and document plant processes; implement controls to sustain improvements
Support cross-functional teams in facility design, construction, and commissioning
Assist with quality, cost reduction, and equipment utilization using Six Sigma and statistical tools
Provide technical expertise in equipment operation, repair, and process control systems
Develop process documentation: PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs, control logic
Support MMSR implementation and act as SME when needed
Contribute to new product development and customer technical service efforts
Prepare project documentation including feasibility studies, scopes, estimates, and CARs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred
7–10 years of experience in heavy manufacturing, mineral, or chemical processing industries
Expertise in unit operations: particle size reduction, drying, conveying, etc
Strong communication and proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience supervising projects and contractors is beneficial
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
20–40% travel may be required depending on projects
Pre-employment drug screening is required

Preferred

Advanced degree in Engineering
Six Sigma training and statistical analysis (Minitab) preferred
PLC programming knowledge a plus
Candidates near Fairmount, GA or Buxite, AR are preferred
