Senior LevelK&M Tire is seeking a Senior Accounting professional to work under the direction of the Controller. The role involves reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate account balances, and supporting the accounting department in various functions including accounts payable and receivable.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Responsibilities
Support General Ledger Accounting as needed
Reconciling accounts and bank statements
Participate in Month-end and Year-end processes; assist in preparation of internal financial reports for management team
Analyze financial information
Research and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations
Assist with external audits
Support Accounts Payable functions as needed
Matching Receivers to invoices
Posting invoices in MaddenCo
Support National Account Billing as needed
Issuing Credits
Entering AP & NAB
Support Accounts Receivable as needed
Posting Cash Receipts
Posting Mobile Deposits
Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks
Spot and communicate errors while providing suggestions on ways to improve
Perform other assigned duties as needed
Support company goals and uphold K&M Values
Qualification
Required
Experience in reconciling general ledger accounts
Ability to ensure accurate account balances
Experience in performing month-end procedures
Ability to support the accounting department's vision
Experience in analyzing financial information
Ability to research and resolve discrepancies in reconciliations
Experience assisting with external audits
Experience in Accounts Payable functions
Ability to match receivers to invoices
Experience in posting invoices
Experience in National Account Billing functions
Ability to issue credits
Experience in entering AP & NAB
Experience in Accounts Receivable functions
Ability to post cash receipts
Experience in posting mobile deposits
Ability to ensure accuracy and effectiveness in accounting tasks
Ability to spot and communicate errors
Ability to provide suggestions on ways to improve
Willingness to perform other assigned duties as needed
