The role involves management of all documents required to meet daily deadlines, including scanning and plotting drawings, downloading and uploading files, and creating design logs.

Responsibilities

Scan and plot drawings
Download and upload files to FTP sites
Create drawing transmittals
Create design logs and maintaining folder structure
Convert files to other formats
Plot drawings from FTP sites and emails
Interpret and implement written instructions from print requests
To work independently, with minimal supervision
To prioritize tasks to meet unexpected deadlines

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
The Document Control Clerk must be able to effectively communicate with employees, supervisors and/or officials of Company
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
Personal computer; phone; scanner; copier; fax; computer software includes: MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Preferred

One (1) year of related work experience preferred
