New Grad, Entry LevelMoffitt Cancer Center is a leading institution in cancer research, and they are seeking a Research Associate I to perform basic research within their specified programs. The role involves providing technical and analytical support, participating in data analysis, and preparing reports and presentations under the supervision of a Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities
Hands-on research experience, maintain laboratory equipment in a clean working order, including performing instrument standardization documented by written report. Reorder and restock laboratory supplies as needed
Responsible for the preparation of tissues and samples for study under appropriate supervision
Keep current with lab trends and techniques
Follow infection control techniques, for preparation, handling and disposal of as samples
Research Associates collect, annotate, and permanently record raw experiment data and document findings in a timely manner accessible to others on the research team
Research Associates work in a manner compliant with applicable regulations including the protection of patient records; apply standard quality control procedures to assure accuracy of test results; operate, calibrate and perform routine maintenance on specialized equipment; maintain supply inventory; prepare reagents according to laboratory standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science related field required with prior hands-on research training experience is required
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
