Information Technology Support Technician

Mondo is seeking a polished, reliable, and highly capable IT Support Technician to deliver exceptional Tier 1–2 technical support across multiple environments. This hands-on, client-facing role requires onsite support at various locations throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area, blending strong technical troubleshooting skills with white-glove customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support across hardware, software, networking, and end-user issues
Support and administer common business applications and basic IT infrastructure
Install, configure, and support systems across Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows
Execute onboarding, offboarding, and laptop provisioning with strong attention to detail
Troubleshoot basic networking and cybersecurity issues (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, VPNs, access issues)
Build, manage, and support conference room AV setups, including room prep, equipment testing, meeting setup, and onsite troubleshooting
Deliver a polished, professional, white-glove support experience
Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Manage multiple priorities and communicate timelines effectively
Demonstrate strong accountability, follow-through, and organizational skills
Coordinate with vendors as needed

Required

5–10 years of IT support experience, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity diagnostics
Comfortable supporting Google Workspace, macOS, and Windows environments
Hands-on experience with conference room AV and meeting technology
Excellent communication skills; professional, confident, and client-facing
Ability and willingness to travel between local sites
Highly responsible, dependable, and able to work independently
Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Valid California driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Preferred

IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, etc.)
Experience in a multi-environment or MSP-style support role
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and remote management tools
