EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT I
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking an Executive Assistant I to provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer and the executive leadership team. The role involves managing complex priorities, handling sensitive information, and performing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Perform confidential and complex administrative support services for executive-level staff in the CFO office
Manage calendars for multiple executives
Performs routine and special assignments such as coordinating routine and annual meetings
May train and provide feedback on performance for junior-level administrative staff in the CFO office
May coordinate and book travel, process fees, purchase supplies, and perform other tasks that involve the use of simple spreadsheets
Expected to manage annual processes, such as staff renewal for state vehicle operations and renewing of annual parking passes for state vehicles
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Two (2) years of related experience
Ability to manage complex priorities
Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Sound judgment
Consistently polished and professional demeanor
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality
Ability to make informed decisions within established guidelines
Ability to work in a fast-paced executive environment
