Responsibilities

Guide the successful completion of high-profile, revenue-impacting programs that use machine learning as essential components
Act as a subject matter expert in designing and prototyping complex ML models and frameworks; lead innovation in technical capability delivery and platform standards
Lead design and implementation of ML applications and platforms within one or more product areas; partner with product, engineering, and operations through development
Maintain a very hands-on approach; contribute code to core and experimental projects; be heavily involved in code reviews and technical deep dives
Engage in cross-crew projects that drive substantial business and technical outcomes; set quality bars (testing, reliability, security, performance, documentation) and proactively improve them
Identify and develop new business opportunities leveraging emerging AI/ML tech
Establish best practices and knowledge bases to guide future innovation

Required

Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
10+ years leading R&D or platform engineering initiatives in technology-driven organizations
Proven experience in AI/ML, Cloud Computing deep knowledge of distributed systems and MLOps (feature stores, model registries, pipelines, monitoring for data/concept drift)
Strong coding proficiency in Python; excellence in code quality, testing, performance, and reliability
Demonstrated success translating research into viable business solutions or product lines; ability to turn ambiguity into iterative, testable plans
