Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair electrical power, lighting, HVAC, and building control systems
Diagnose and repair PLC-based control systems
Monitor and adjust HVAC systems using Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Perform daily and periodic maintenance tasks in assigned areas
Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and work orders accurately and on schedule
Support plant maintenance, operations, and building renovation projects
Assist in implementing and improving the Preventive Maintenance Program
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with applicable codes
Maintain a professional, clean, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations
Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to off-hour emergencies
Identify and report unsafe conditions promptly
Assist Facility Services with cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
Ensure facilities comply with all federal, state, and local regulations
Follow all environmental procedures in coordination with the tenant’s environmental representative
Review plans and specifications related to maintenance, construction, and renovation projects
Provide responsive customer service, advise on maintenance solutions, and follow up on work progress
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the building maintenance industry
At least five (5) years working with electrical power systems and utility control systems
Strong experience with HVAC system operation, maintenance, and repair
In-depth knowledge of air handling systems, airflow, indoor air quality (IAQ), heating, and exhaust systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, operating manuals, and schematics
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
