Responsibilities
Research insurance coverage issues and draft coverage opinions across multiple liability lines
Independently manage first-party insurance disputes and third-party coverage litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, and settlement agreements
Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations
Retain and manage experts, including inspections and report development
Communicate effectively with clients, partners, and support staff
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar of Texas
4-5 years of insurance coverage experience
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
Experience preparing coverage opinions and handling coverage litigation
Self-starter with strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
