Senior Accounting Process Optimization Analyst

LHH is searching for a strategic, detail-driven finance professional to join their team as a Senior Accounting Process Optimization Analyst. In this role, you will improve finance workflows, streamline processes, and enhance internal controls while supporting Finance-led technologies and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Strengthen and refine core finance workflows across R2R, P2P, O2C, fixed assets, costing, and more
Diagnose operational gaps, streamline manual steps, and champion automation opportunities
Lead collaborative workshops to align stakeholders and redesign processes with clarity and purpose
Improve reporting accuracy and partner with teams to troubleshoot system issues in real time
Enhance internal controls and ensure our processes meet SOX, audit, and compliance standards
Drive adoption of new tools through training, documentation, and day‑to‑day support
Maintain dashboards and trackers to keep close cycles efficient and audit‑ready
Support the rollout of Finance‑led technologies such as FloQast, Workiva, and Planful
Guide cross‑functional projects with procurement, shared services, and accounting partners
Sustain a culture of continuous improvement by monitoring existing automations and suggesting upgrades

Required

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
5–10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or process optimization roles
Strong background working with financial operations such as AP, AR, GL, and costing
Experience with ERP platforms (Oracle Fusion Cloud, Global Shop Solutions preferred)
Familiarity with Finance tools like FloQast, Workiva, and Planful
Demonstrated success improving processes and supporting organizational scale
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead discussions across multiple teams
CPA or similar professional certification is highly valued
Willingness to travel occasionally to support special initiatives or team collaboration
