Responsibilities
Maintain accounts payable records and ensure invoices are properly submitted for payment processing
Review & validate hours worked and tips payable for bi-weekly payrolls
File invoices in project folders and save within ERP system
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
Support ad hoc reporting requests from ERP system
Reconcile invoices to project costs reports on a monthly basis
Support external audits by providing the required documentation
Maintain sales tax rate schedule and request setup of new SUT certificates
Assist with payroll processing, benefit withholdings and Paylocity data entry as needed
Contributes to the development of internal controls and process improvements
Review Ramp system for missing receipts & coding and follow up with employees to ensure monthly close deadlines are met
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP system (Sage is a plus)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong people skills and a collaborative team player
