Project Manager, OSM Onsite
EZARC is seeking an Offsite Manufacturing OSM Onsite Project Manager based in Boise, Idaho, responsible for the overall planning, execution, and financial performance of onsite installations. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project budgets, ensuring quality control, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Preconstruction and Estimating
Assist in project procurement by reviewing drawings, walking the scope to be bid, and providing estimator with detailed scope information sufficient to bid the project
Assist estimator with bid preparation and bid review with all aspects of the scope including design, detailing, fabrication, and erection
Review project contract
Once awarded, provide leadership throughout design (including BIM), detailing and project planning
Lead the planning and execution of onsite installation of OSM projects, including coordination of activities between the design, fabrication, and construction teams
Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring effective allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment
Ensure that all project requirements are understood and met, including client specifications, safety regulations, and building codes
Prepare, manage, and track project budgets, including the identification of cost-saving opportunities and the mitigation of potential cost overruns
Monitor project expenses and report financial status to senior management, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget
Supervise and lead cross-functional project teams, including engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors
Ensure that project team members are clear on roles, responsibilities, and expectations, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address concerns, and provide necessary guidance to the team
Enforce rigorous quality control processes to ensure that all structural steel work is completed to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding project specifications
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA guidelines, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety procedures and guidelines on the job site
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence
Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise
Foster a collaborative, solutions focused project culture aligned with EZARC values
Act as the liaison between clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to facilitate communication and resolve any conflicts
Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
Handle project issues, including design changes, delays, equipment breakdowns, or personnel issues, ensuring minimal disruption to the overall timeline
Implement contingency plans as needed to address unforeseen challenges
Develop detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables, with effective coordination
Manage the procurement of materials and resources, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies at all stages of the project
Track progress against schedules and make adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project logs
Prepare regular progress reports for senior management, stakeholders, and clients, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and achievements
Ensure that all project documentation complies with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements
Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors involved in the project, ensuring high-quality deliverables and cost-effective solutions
Monitor vendor performance and ensure that subcontractors meet their contractual obligations, including adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field
At least 5-8 years of experience in project management, specifically within the structural steel industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
Proven leadership and team coordination skills across multiple disciplines
Strong background in managing project teams and liaising with clients and subcontractors
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Primavera)
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of design, BIM, detailing, estimating, budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
Ability to identify potential project risks and implement effective solutions
Preferred
Certification or training in project management (PMP, LEED, etc.) is a plus
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
