They are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Analyst for a part-time/on-call role, responsible for analyzing product design changes, preparing documentation, and managing software configuration standards.

Responsibilities

Analyze product design changes to determine impacts on design, functionality, and required documentation
Prepare and maintain all documentation associated with design or configuration changes
Design and establish configuration and management documentation standards
Authorize the release of drawings and software configuration changes as directed by management and cross‑functional teams
Develop and maintain software configuration management (SCM) tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery for both internally developed and COTS software products
Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, compliant with standard hardware configurations, and logistically sustainable
Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to support software modeling and development
Design and implement build procedures supporting software product development and deployment
Potentially develop company‑wide software configuration standards
Provide training to software developers on configuration management tools and software quality standards

Required

5 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA
3 years with an MS/MA
0 years with a PhD
An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Experience with the D200F process
Experience updating tables and executing queries in Microsoft Access
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience developing process documentation
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and results-oriented
Strong organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Ability to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia
