Responsibilities

Reviews and verifies insurance coverage for infusion patients to ensure eligibility and benefits

Assesses the need for pre-certification and authorization following established guidelines for each patient

Ensures all pre-certification or authorization requirements are met according to insurance specifications

Educates patients on their financial responsibilities and available financial assistance options

Applies for free or replacement drugs for qualifying patients

Assists self-pay patients with financial arrangements and payment plans

Required

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

High School Grad or Equiv

1+ experience required in medical billing and insurance
