Customer Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary interface with the customer’s quality team, addressing quality issues and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
Write detailed reports and corrective actions and present them during weekly meetings with the customer
Review and analyze technical data, drawings, and work instructions to identify and resolve quality issues
Coordinate with internal teams, including business leaders, other quality engineers, production engineers, and engineering teams, to troubleshoot and perform failure analysis
Assist with quality issues in production and repair shop
Lead small projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline from an accredited college/university (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment)
Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within a manufacturing environment
This position requires U.S. citizenship status
Preferred
In-depth knowledge of quality assurance and quality control processes; understanding of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing and quality control
Customer-focused mindset with a strong commitment to supporting and addressing customer quality concerns, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives
Proven experience in lean manufacturing principles, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Strong analytical skillset to evaluate and improve manufacturing processes
Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical products
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
Experience in reviewing and analyzing technical data
Ability to work independently, managing tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
