Akkodis is seeking a Java Springboot lead developer for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves leading the design and development of high-performing microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, while ensuring scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs using Java 1.8, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for high-traffic, public-facing applications
Set coding standards and perform code reviews, driving quality through unit test coverage, debugging best practices, and continuous improvement of existing services
Architect data access and integration patterns leveraging SQL, NoSQL, messaging, and scripting to build robust, resilient backend jobs and services
Collaborate with front-end teams (React) to deliver end-to-end solutions, ensuring responsive web design alignment (HTML5/CSS3) and seamless API contracts
Analyze legacy and current codebases to identify optimizations, refactor for maintainability, and drive defect resolution across environments
Manage source control and delivery workflows in Git, supporting CI/CD pipelines, Branching strategies, and release management

Required

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, React framework, CI/CD practices, and responsive web design (HTML5/CSS3)
