This role will play a key part in evaluating the solution in a test environment, coordinating integration activities across multiple technical teams, and ensuring a smooth transition into production.

Responsibilities
Understand and assist with the installation, configuration, and validation of the COTS software product in test and production environments
Coordinate integration activities with cross‑functional teams, including networking, server/VM administrators, identity and access management, and application owners
Evaluate system requirements, dependencies, and integration points to ensure compatibility and operational readiness
Understand, communicate, support and coordinate support activities including
+ Networking - such as ports, protocols, firewalls, and load balancers as required for system connectivity
+ Compute - such as server and virtual machine provisioning, configuration, and performance tuning
+ Database - collaborate with database teams to configure, query, and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server instances
+ Identity and Access – authentication and authorization mechanisms including single sign on and possess knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
+ Integration - work with APIs and integration frameworks, including Microsoft Graph, to support data exchange and system interoperability
Assist in preparing documentation required for system accreditation, compliance, and security assessments
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides, configuration baselines, and operational procedures
Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and issue resolution throughout testing and deployment phases
Communicate project status, risks, and technical considerations clearly to stakeholders and leadership
Qualification
Required
Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI and CI Poly eligibility
Bachelors in Engineering or other technical field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
8 years of broad technical experience across networking, servers, virtualization, identity management, and system integration
Strong understanding of ports, protocols, firewalls, and network connectivity troubleshooting
Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments and virtual machine platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V)
Solid understanding of relational database concepts and hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Working knowledge of authentication and identity services, including Microsoft Entra ID
Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and integration concepts
Understanding of system accreditation, compliance frameworks, or security assessment processes
Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and 'roll up their sleeves' to drive tasks to completion
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Graph
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
