Responsibilities
Develop and administer pre-functional checklists
Adapt at creating clear and concise daily field reports and reports for issue resolution
Takes ownership of completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignments
Capable of communicating and having daily interaction with management and client teams
Commissioning report contribution and development
Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings
Create and update daily Commissioning progress reports
Develop and administer functional testing of individual equipment and systems within a trade via Facility Grid
Observing startup activities / management of vendors; Test data collection and analysis
Proactive problem identification and resolution
System and component troubleshooting at low levels
Understand FMCx standards and can successfully utilize Facility Grid
Works required overtime and travels as necessary to ensure projects are fully supported
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or required years of experience, including commissioning of large distribution systems for industrial, datacenter, pharmaceutical processes, or laboratory type facilities
A minimum of 18 months years field experience in hands-on testing, validation and troubleshooting of large Electrical systems
Possesses basic understanding of proper system selection
Exhibits basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principals to building designs
Exhibits thorough understanding of applicable codes
EIT/FE required
Preferred
Experience with ASHRAE, BCxA, and/or PECI Cx and RETRO-Cx procedures and protocols, a plus
