Branch Manager

Responsibilities

Drive branch growth by acquiring new clients and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones
Ensure excellent customer service by fostering an environment of continuous improvement and accountability
Regularly visit key clients to identify opportunities for further business development
Oversee branch operations to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal standards

Use financial reports to manage cash flow, improve transportation yield, and control expenses
Focus on driving profitable growth by increasing revenue and improving operational efficiency
Develop and implement strategies to keep the branch competitive in the freight forwarding market

Work closely with the leadership team to align branch goals with overall company objectives
Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and constructive feedback within the branch
Travel as required
Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team aligned with the company’s mission
Foster a culture of open dialogue and constructive feedback, encouraging growth and continuous improvement
Smoothly integrate new hires into the organization and provide ongoing support for their development
Recognize and reward top performers while creating growth opportunities for all employees

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
At least 5 years of progressive experience in the freight forwarding industry, or 10 years of equivalent work experience is preferred
Fluency in English is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong leadership, team-building, and delegation skills
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure and adapt to changing market conditions
High level of initiative and personal accountability
