The Senior Associate will deliver technology consulting in semiconductors, telecom, hardware, and software, analyze patent portfolios, and provide strategic technical advice on patent matters.

Responsibilities

Deliver technology consulting to law firms and corporates in semiconductors (e.g., VLSI, circuit design), telecom (e.g., 5G, networking), hardware, and software

Analyze patent portfolios, reverse-engineer claims, and resolve technical queries on chip design, RF systems, and protocols

Provide strategic technical advice on patent validity, infringement, and licensing

Collaborate cross-functionally to align IP strategy with business objectives

Engage US clients via calls with experts, counsel, leaders, founders, and litigators

Publish thought leadership blogs and research reports on emerging tech

Build internal/external relationships; work hybrid in-person in Austin/virtual global teams

Required

BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communications, Micro-electronics, VLSI, Computers, or related

Expertise in semiconductor technologies (CMOS, FinFET, SoC), circuit design, telecom protocols (LTE/5G), patent claim analysis

Expert technical research; explain complex tech simply; client management; multitasking under deadlines; entrepreneurial mindset

Travel required: Up to 40%
