Sales Manager - New York Hilton Midtown
Hilton is a leading global hospitality company, and they are seeking a Sales Manager for the New York Hilton Midtown. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new leads, developing customer relationships, and maximizing revenue streams for the hotel.

Responsibilities
Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams, to meet and exceed lead generation goals
Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts
Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams
Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals
Apply strong sales skills to create customer value
Demonstrate a mastery of the prospecting process. Identify potential customers. Prepare and implement your call strategy
Understand the customer and the business leaders expectations. Adapt to a changing market
Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel
Develop and execute plans to engage in outside sales calls, industry tradeshows and customer events
Develop, execute and communicate a monthly, quarterly and annual business plan for a designated market
Maintain up to date pipeline of business opportunities that will meet the short and long-term business objectives for the designated market
Represent hotel in all interactions dealing with their customers relative to sales, including creating business proposals and executing contracts
Conduct site inspections through masterful story telling with prospective and existing customers based on their individual needs
Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and beverage services, etc
Initiate new sales, prospect, and qualify leads and solicit potential clients
Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
Conduct property site visits and answer questions
Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost and potential business for the hotel
Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals
Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
Qualification
Required
1–2 years of experience in hotel group sales
Proven track record of motivation and performance
Solid tenure in previous roles demonstrating reliability and commitment
Ability to exceed goals and build lasting client relationships
Thrive in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with the Wholesale FIT Market, Airline Crew, and International Sales or ability to quickly learn these segments
Work well with a sales partner to strategize and execute sales plans
Strong sales, communication, and networking skills
Deep understanding of customer needs
Ability to qualify, negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel
Mastery of the prospecting process
Ability to identify potential customers and prepare call strategies
Ability to adapt to a changing market
