Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, accountability, productivity, and high performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap, aligning with Binti’s mission and business objectives
Oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly software that addresses the unique challenges of the child welfare space
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation within the engineering team, contributing to the long-term success and scalability of Binti’s platform
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on user experience and system performance
Implement and champion agile development methodologies, ensuring the team operates efficiently and adapts to evolving project needs
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success in leading and managing engineering teams to high performance, ideally in a SaaS or tech start-up environment with at least 5-7 years of management experience
Strong technical background with experience in full-stack development, cloud computing, and scalable architecture
Ability to align technical strategies with business priorities and goals, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
A genuine interest in leveraging technology to address social challenges, with a strong sense of purpose in improving outcomes for children in need
