Responsibilities
Assist primarily on due diligence of new investment prospects, including financial modeling, customer diligence and other research
Use financial models and market research to assess the viability and growth potential of companies
Support the investment decisions of the firm through financial modeling, market size analysis, and business development
Understand broader industry trend, major players and disruptive technologies
Collaborate with the Korea Ventures team to create new market insights/deep dives and feedback into Ventures' thesis-driven approach to investing
As an intern within the Ventures US team, you will assist the deal leaders in sourcing, evaluating and managing early-stage venture investment opportunities
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in business, economics, finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus, but not required)
Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and market research
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the venture capital landscape and emerging technologies or industries is highly desirable
Self-Starter: Highly motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Team Player: Ability to collaborate and contribute to a small, tight-knit team
Bilingual Language Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken Korean and English
Preferred
Strong technical background in computer science, engineering or a related field
Deep understanding of the AI landscape and its various sub-sectors
Internship experience in venture capital or a related field
