Responsibilities

Support system integration planning across spacecraft subsystems (avionics, propulsion, power, thermal, structures, software, communications) interfaces and mission-level architecture
Maintain system level configuration management, requirements decomposition, interface definition, and traceability using DOORS and CAMEO
Develop and maintain system documentation such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), integration procedures, test plans, and verification matrices and help track verification closure and configuration status
Assist in planning and executing integration, test, and verification (IT&V) activities
Support test procedure development, test execution, and anomaly documentation
Help track verification closure and configuration status
Participate in integration and test activities including subsystem integration, functional testing, environmental testing, and anomaly resolution
Coordinate technical inputs across engineering teams to ensure compatibility and interface alignment
Collaborate with hardware, software, avionics, propulsion, ground systems, and operations teams
Support integration reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR)
Prepare technical documentation, briefing charts, and status reports

Required

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field
0 - 3 years of professional experience in systems integration, testing, or engineering design within aerospace, defense, or mission-critical systems
Familiarity of basic systems engineering principles (requirements, interfaces, verification, validation)
Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering concepts and spacecraft subsystems
Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance

Preferred

Masters's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field preferred
Internship, co-op, or work experience related to aerospace, robotics, defense, or complex system integration for space systems (satellites, payloads, launch vehicles, and ground/supporting systems)
Experience with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, etc
Working knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or scripting for integration automation
Exposure to test environments, research lab, lab integration, or environmental testing
Knowledge of space program lifecycle phases and review gates
Active Interim or Active Secret Clearance
