CBP Deputy Program Manager

They are seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support their Customs and Border Protection customer by managing a program with over 300 software engineers, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery of projects, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Organize; direct and coordinate planning and execution of all contract activities, and review the work of subordinates, including subcontractors, to ensure that the schedule, standards, and reporting responsibilities are met
Ensure that all work on this contract complies with contract terms and conditions and is approved/coordinated with senior corporate managers
Be the primary interface with the COR
Provide technical advice on strategic issues, utilizing analytical methods and tools, including statistical methods, mathematical techniques, and process mapping
Provide technical direction in program management, facilitation, and process improvement analysis. Lead initiatives to correct unfavorable trends and deviations from established plans within the program
Manage program resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective allocation and utilization
Identify and mitigate risks that could impact program success, develop risk mitigation strategies, and facilitate resolution
Champion performance excellence and continuous service improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years experience OR Master's degree and 10+ years of experience
Minimum of 10 years' Program Management experience on large-scale IT operations and maintenance contracts of similar size and scope
DAWIA Level II Program Management, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Project Management Professional® (PMP®) certification required
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with various stakeholders, including leadership, peers, and external partners
Active Customs and Border Protection Background Investigation (CBP BI) or Top Secret clearance. Must be US Citizen
