Responsibilities

Build and maintain 3 D solid models and 2 D drawings in the Digital Product Lifecycle Management (dPLM) environment

Produce release ready engineering documents (drawings, BOMs, assembly parts lists) for fabrication and procurement

Perform tolerance stack up and fit analyses to guarantee manufacturability and reliability

Apply MBD principles, embedding GD&T and feature control frames directly in the CAD model

Coordinate design changes across cross functional teams and keep dPLM baselines current

Support Production Planning, Operations, and Global Supply Chain with accurate, up to date design data and troubleshooting

Identify and implement innovative design solutions to resolve complex mechanical challenges

Lead design reviews, incorporate feedback, and secure formal engineering release approvals

Maintain documentation compliance with DoD and Lockheed Martin standards
