Summer Intern - HR Talent Management (Omaha, NE)

FNBO is committed to the success of its employees and is seeking an energetic HR Summer Intern to join their Talent Management team. The role offers hands-on experience in various HR projects, focusing on long-term talent strategies and supporting the coordination of FNBO's Internship Program.

Responsibilities

Support with the coordination of FNBO’s Internship Program including event logistics, programming execution, and strategic preparation for ongoing initiatives
Create and send regular communications to all summer interns about upcoming events and engagement opportunities
Attend and promote intern programming events throughout the summer
Learn about FNBO’s organization as a whole and support with a variety of HR projects
Execute projects to enhance how we execute our school partnerships (k-12)
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business (Community Development Team, Learning & Development Team, Business Units, etc.) and in the community (school districts and non-profits) to re-imagine how we support our community and schools with Career Education
Support relationships and commitments with school and community partners through coordinating and executing educational opportunities
Assist with strategic planning and coordination for upcoming employee development programming
Up to 20% of time could be spent hosting or attending engagement opportunities

Required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to adhere to overlapping timelines of completion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Must be a current university student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, Education, Liberal Arts, or similar field
Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher

Preferred

Design experience in Canva
Content design education or experience
Experience working with students grades K-12
Event planning and public speaking experience
