Responsibilities

Prepare and submit appeals for reduced invoices

Logging reduced invoices for all clients

Tracking and updating all reduced invoices in database and smart sheet

Following up with firm timekeepers to prepare for appeal responses

Corresponding with clients to ensure successful appeals and payment of the appealed invoices

Obtaining necessary approvals from responsible attorneys for write-offs, late appeals, etc

Analyze appeal data to recognize trends and help develop solutions

Required

Experience with Ebilling for a law firm, preferably in a large law firm environment

Experience with online Ebilling vendors such as; Passport, Tymetrix, Collaborati, CounselLink, Serengeti and Ascent

Experience with Ebilling submission tools such as eBilling Hub or BillBlast

Strong problem-solving skills

Creative-Analytical skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to adapt and quick thinker

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office

High level attention to details and accuracy skills

Preferred

High school diploma, college graduate preferred

Current Aderant or Elite user a plus

Familiarity with third party legal ebilling vendors preferred

Previous experience as a billing coordinator a plus
