Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate warehouse associates during shifts, assigning tasks and ensuring completion of daily duties
Receive, unload, inspect, and record incoming shipments of windows, doors, and bath products
Lead warehouse associates and perform hands-on tasks, including pulling, staging, and preparing products for installations and service appointments
Coordinate shipments to company locations and job sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Monitor warehouse associates to ensure safe operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment
Utilize the inventory management system to record, track, and update product information
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment; enforce safety procedures among associates
Verify quantities and record all products received, distributed, or shipped, including noting shortages or damages
Assist with daily cycle counts and year-end physical inventory audits; ensure accuracy and completeness
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packaging of all products and materials
Ensure loading, unloading, and movement of materials by hand or equipment; monitor team compliance
Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation, including manifests and packing lists
Direct warehouse associates to pick, stage, and ship items in accordance with company standards
Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, permits, and all federal, state, local, and company policies
Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs
Ensure compliance with fleet and vehicle safety requirements, including maintaining company vehicles and safe driving practices
Coordinate the delivery of materials to jobsites and company locations as needed
Manage invoices, and allocation of materials to jobs, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
Support process improvements and workflow efficiency within the warehouse
Communicate with installation, service, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualification
Required
At least 3 years' warehouse or inventory experience required; supervisory experience preferred
Ability to operate material-handling equipment; forklift certification required (certification may be obtained through company-provided training if not already certified)
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed
Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications used in the performance of job duties
