Responsibilities
Review and inspect incoming receipts from vendors, checking Bill of Lading/Packing Lists quantities (piece counts), and package damage
Verify products meet purchase order requirements
Review and inspect vendor certifications against purchase order and specification requirements
Perform real time systematic transactions for receiving material and moving material
Identify products by tagging or other methods to ensure traceability
Ensure products in stores and inventory are adequately protected against damage and deterioration
Maintain an organized and productive stores and inventory area
Unload vehicles and storage containers onto staging areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment
Sort and stack material to be palletized for movement to designated staging areas
Perform other duties as required by the organization
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to use a computer and perform data entry functions
Well organized and detail oriented
Ability to work well with others in a team environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
2 years in warehouse receiving
