Responsibilities

Develop and conduct training sessions for pharmacy technicians and Production Associates focusing on areas such as medication dispensing, customer service, and compliance with regulatory standards
Create, review, and update training materials and manuals to keep pace with industry changes and best practices
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using assessments and feedback mechanisms, and modify programs as needed to enhance learning outcomes
Mentor and support pharmacy technicians through their certification process and continuing education
Collaborate with pharmacy management to identify training needs and align training initiatives with business goals
Maintain records of training activities and monitor the progress of trainees

Required

High school diploma
Licensure/Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification
Strong instructional skills with a proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
Experience in curriculum development and training delivery in a healthcare or pharmacy setting
Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy work, with a focus on education or training

Preferred

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; additional certification in training (such as CTT+ or similar) is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Education, Pharmacy, or related field is advantageous
