Senior Consultant - Building Envelope

Responsibilities
Perform building envelope assessments, investigations, and evaluations (garages, roofing, waterproofing, façade, windows/doors, and exterior cladding systems)
Identify failure mechanisms, distress conditions, and contributing factors through field observations, testing, and document review
Develop repair concepts, remediation recommendations, and scope-of-work documents
Prepare technical reports, opinions, and recommendations for owners, contractors, and other stakeholders in a timely manner
Develop design sketches and construction documents
Assist with bid support and construction administration
Conduct construction observations and respond to contractor RFIs, substitution requests, and field conditions
Manage projects from proposal through closeout, including scope definition, scheduling, and coordination of project deliverables
Develop and maintain project budgets, track labor and expenses, and support collection of required project documentation
Coordinate internal resources and oversee work performed by junior staff, CAD/drafting support, and subconsultants
Maintain proactive communication with clients, including progress updates, schedule coordination, and technical consultation
Support business development through client relationship management, referrals, and identifying follow-on work opportunities
Maintain Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of practice and other states as needed
Exhibit highest levels of professionalism in written, verbal, and interpersonal communications with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders
Log billable time daily per company policy and complete project tasks in a timely manner, striving to meet client expectations and deadlines
