Responsibilities
Work directly with the General Counsel on most, if not all, transactions, including acquisitions, third-party management and asset management arrangements, development projects, financing and refinancing, legal due diligence, entity formation and maintenance, and joint venture structuring
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, real estate, and corporate agreements
Oversee litigation intake and manage the Company’s litigation matters, including coordination with outside counsel
Serve as the lead in-house attorney on operational matters requiring legal input, including customer disputes and other claims
Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders across the organization
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing
3+ years of relevant legal experience, with substantial transactional experience
Experience managing litigation and working with outside counsel
Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership
