Responsibilities
Conduct thorough surveys of workplace safety programs and identify/assess safety and environmental hazards
Review safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable directives
Maintain accident and incident records, reports, and documentation to support organizational activities
Assist in developing briefings, safety training, and participate in meetings
Work independently with strong attention to detail and utilize excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualification
Required
BS or BA degree in a related field
Minimum of 1 year of related experience
Ability to interpret and apply safety laws, rules, and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel as needed
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred
MS degree in a related field
Experience conducting workplace accident investigations
Experience in Solid and Hazardous Waste Management
Experience in risk management and mitigation
