Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of pre-trial and trial work across a range of complex litigation matters, including but not limited to: Business Litigation, Construction & Real Estate Law, Employment Law, Environmental Law, Mediation, Product Liability, Toxic Tort, Trucking and Transportation
Independently manage a caseload, develop case strategies, conduct discovery, draft legal documents, and represent clients in court proceedings
Supervise staff and collaborate with other attorneys to successfully complete assignments
Travel to offsite locations for depositions, collecting records and information, or filing documents with courts as needed
Qualification
Required
Must be licensed to practice law in the State of California
1+ years of extensive litigation experience, with a proven track record of handling complex cases from inception through trial
Independently managing a caseload, developing case strategies, conducting discovery, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings
A strong understanding of California civil procedure and evidence rules, as well as excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate tactfully with a diverse group of attorneys, staff, and clients
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
Ability to effectively supervise staff and collaborate with other attorneys to successfully complete assignments
Willingness to travel to offsite locations for depositions, collecting records and information, or filing documents with courts as needed
