Responsibilities

Collaborate with user groups and stakeholders to translate operational needs and ideas into structured Lean Business Cases that quantify value, identify risks, and clearly articulate return on investment (ROI)
Conduct interviews, workshops, and analytical assessments to understand user requirements, challenges, and desired outcomes, translating findings into actionable and compelling value propositions
Research industry trends, competitor capabilities, and market opportunities to inform the development of data-driven business cases and support strategic decision-making
Leverage data from internal systems, customer feedback, and market research to validate assumptions and quantify anticipated benefits
Partner with stakeholders to develop financial models, including cost-benefit analyses, ROI projections, and payback periods for proposed initiatives
Identify risks associated with proposed epics and develop mitigation strategies to enhance project success and sustainability
Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and persuasive presentations that communicate feasibility, value, and impact to leadership and decision-makers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Lean Business Case development processes, identifying opportunities for standardization, automation, and efficiency
Travel may be required in support of special projects (CONUS and OCONUS)
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Active Secret clearance is required
Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with strong capabilities in business process analysis, data analysis, and financial modeling
Working knowledge of Lean Business Case development, including value quantification, risk assessment, and investment justification
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex issues and develop practical, data-driven solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders, build consensus, and influence outcomes
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to support business case development and decision-making
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with an interest in staying current on Agile and industry best practices

Preferred

Experience with change management, organizational development, or related disciplines is preferred
Familiarity with Agile tools and collaboration platforms such as Jira and Confluence is desirable
Foundational understanding of Agile principles, particularly as they relate to epic definition, prioritization, and delivery
