Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Design AV systems to integrate with enterprise network using TCP/IP protocol, network topologies, and QoS; Develop and implement AV system architecture with video/audio transport over IP
Ensure reliable AV transmission over wireless infrastructure using Wireless Networking
Integrate AV systems using QoS (Quality of Service signaling and multimedia session initiation protocols for AV conferencing functionality
Design functional and technical scopes of complex audio/video conferencing systems to define system requirements and technical specifications using Extron systems (Extron Global Configurator/Extron AV Associate), Tesira 101 Core Concepts, Computer and Network Security
Perform site surveys to gather accurate design inputs and environmental data for AV planning and integration using Radio System Design; Analyze and forecast AV bandwidth usage, applying traffic engineering concept, Network Design and Management
Transfer presale documents and technical analysis to Operations for final design and project management
Troubleshoot technical issues for post-sale system augmentation
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Computer Science
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering
