Responsibilities

Under general direction from the Senior Program Manager, responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned programs
Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including setting goals, budgets, and timelines
Coordinate communication between project team members and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information sharing
Monitor project progress, identifying any issues or delays, and propose adjustments to schedules or strategies as necessary
Oversee the procurement of resources and materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and are delivered on time
Implement risk management strategies to minimize project risks and prepare contingency plans for potential problems
Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting discussions, and tracking action items
Evaluate project outcomes against initial objectives and criteria, providing detailed reports on findings and recommendations for future improvements
Support the project manager in contract administration, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards and addressing any disputes or variations
Ensure adherence to quality standards and review program deliverables
Ensure all program activities comply with contract terms, applicable regulations (FAR/DFARS), and organizational policies
Provide technical and analytical guidance to program team
Recommend and direct the analysis and solutions of problems
Support pricing strategies and financial tracking in collaboration with finance teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field; master's preferred
5–8 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in federal government contracting
Proven experience managing federal contracts (e.g., DoD, DHS, VA, HHS, etc.)
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M), and compliance requirements
US Citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance is required

Preferred

Master's degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field
PMP, PgMP, or DAWIA certification preferred
Travel: 10-20%; domestic and international
