Responsibilities
Collect measurements, test and report results on various components to ensure they fall within specification ranges
Ensure that sandwiches are being built to specification
Conduct in line audits/product assessments for specification compliance on food products
Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, and document corrective actions
Ensure GMPs are being followed
Assess facility for sanitary compliance
Collect weights and measurements of finished good products
Ensure package integrity and accuracy
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Ability to operate standard lab equipment
Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Be detailed and organized
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
The ability to read and understand specifications and other technical documents
Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork
Ability to use a tablet/iPad
Ability to interact with all levels of organization
Preferred
Certificates related to Food Safety and/or HACCP
Knowledge of Food Safety fundamentals is desirable
