Revenue Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
Own and manage all aspects of revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606) and alignment with company policies
Lead the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process, including contract review, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and reporting
Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment for complex arrangements
Maintain and continuously enhance revenue recognition policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a scalable, pre-IPO–ready environment
Oversee deferred revenue and accounts receivable reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of balance sheet and P&L results
Collaborate with FP&A and Sales Operations to provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts and analyses
Drive system and process improvements, including automation initiatives and ERP integrations to streamline revenue workflows
Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to revenue and receivables
Provide technical accounting guidance for new revenue streams, pricing models, and business initiatives
Qualification
Required
6–9 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years focused on revenue accounting in a SaaS or technology company
CPA required; Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred
Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
Experience with revenue automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Zuora, or Salesforce CPQ)
Proven track record managing the revenue close process in a global, high-growth environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights clearly
Experience in designing and maintaining internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness and SOX compliance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree a plus
Preferred
Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred
