Sr Lab Technical Analyst

Responsibilities

Performing complex analytical and/or quantitative and qualitative testing in accordance with industry accepted codes, specifications, and standards
Taking ownership of their value stream while providing guidance and direction to other team members and applying CE Way (Lean) concepts to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control the processes directly related to their particular area of focus
Overseeing complex projects with minimal supervision and providing oversight to a project team depending on the project needs
Responsible for the implementation of Project Quality Management Plans and Inspection Plans
Developing and directing all quality audits, surveillance, and assessment activities
Ensuring all individuals are qualified to their appropriate job duties, supporting the process of all project documentation turnovers, and evaluating vendors and suppliers in accordance with Project Quality Plans and all applicable engineering, project specifications and codes
High Complexity equipment and test method evaluation and validation
Executing standard examination procedures
In-depth understanding of industry codes and requirements in order to develop examination procedures and methods
Leading, planning and setting up long-term technical test plans including examination protocols, logistics, communication, execution of test plan, all necessary QA/QC, and report submittals
Leading long-term projects and programs, maintaining responsibility for all customer facing aspects of the project
Other duties as assigned or may be necessary

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical or Scientific field with 4 years of relevant experience
OR Associate's Degree in a Technical or Scientific field with 6 years of relevant experience
OR High School Diploma with 8 years of relevant experience
Required Certifications/Licensures: (Certifications will vary based on the specific department, however the Career level will not be attained without several certifications identified within each specific department.)
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and critical thinking skills
Working knowledge of quality assurance and quality control skills; including but not limited to problem solving, waste elimination, design/specification development, and audit facilitation
In-depth understanding of industry codes and requirements in order to develop examination procedures and methods
High Complexity equipment and test method evaluation and validation
