Responsibilities

The building engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of the building systems by monitoring, operating and maintaining, building systems and equipment

Qualification

Stationary engineer apprenticeshipFire alarm systems maintenanceComputerized building controlsCentral plant operationsTechnical support

Required

Successfully completed a stationary engineer apprenticeship or equivalent training
Experienced in operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems

Preferred

Trained in use of computerized building controls system (DDC) or equivalent educ/experience
3 years of experience in central plant operations and maintenance
