Start in 2026 SummerFarm Bureau Financial Services is offering a Data Analytics internship for the summer of 2026, which provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience in data analytics. The intern will assist in the creation and maintenance of metrics, reports, and data analysis for the Life Analytics team, contributing to various business units.

Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and maintenance of life, annuity, and wealth management metrics, reports, and data analysis
Provide support to the Life Analytics team with a focus on Life Operations reporting needs
Work on projects within the hired work area for 80% of the time, learn in other areas within the assigned division for 10% of the time, and participate in shared experiences across the organization for the final 10%
Qualification
Required
Be a current undergraduate college student, working toward a college degree in data analytics, statistics, or a similar field
Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel required
Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Must be a self-starter, take initiative and be highly motivated
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
Be able to work full-time (8am-4:30pm M-F) summer 2026 and 15-20 hours/week during the 2026-27 school year
Be able to work in-person at our home office in West Des Moines, IA
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis
