VP CIAM Technology
GM Financial is a leader in the auto finance industry, focused on tech modernization and data-driven insights. They are seeking a VP of Customer Identity and Access Management to build and drive their global CIAM & CPM strategy, ensuring seamless and secure customer experiences across digital platforms.

Responsibilities
Establish, document, and communicate the CIAM & CPM strategy, roadmap, capabilities, policies, and procedures to key stakeholders
Drive deep engagement in formulating the strategy to ensure it meets needs of the various stakeholders
Communicate the CIAM & CPM vision at all levels of the organization and drive robust change management to ensure healthy adoption
Partner closely with cybersecurity, legal & privacy, IAM, and engineering leadership to evolve maturity of the CIAM architecture
Translate the envisioned digital experience into an optimal technology platform, supplemental tools, integrations, analytics and reporting across the CIAM ecosystem
Leverage composability principles to ensure ease of identity implementation for new product or services
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging CIAM technologies/trends and understand how they can be leveraged to meet the needs of the business
Act as a mentor providing guidance to all team members on technical and architectural issues
Detailed knowledge of tools, technologies and processes in the CIAM & CPM space
Expert level knowledge of CIAM & CPM lifecycle in both B2C and B2B use cases
Strong experience with the following toolsets – Okta Customer Identity Cloud, Cassie, Auth0, Azure AD B2C and other industry leading CIAM solutions
Experience implementing single tenant/multi-tenant solutions, federation, SSO, and passwordless authentication
Ability to think strategically and make collaborative decisions
Ability to confidently articulate business risks and technical challenges to stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many levels of management and across multiple lines of business and corporate functions
Have a global perspective: Taking a broad view when approaching issues using a global lens
Manage complexity: Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
Be able to optimize work processes: Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement
Be organizational savvy: Maneuvering comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics
Communicates quickly, clearly, concisely, appropriately and intelligently
Strong analytical skills
Strong awareness of the latest trends in the CIAM space
Advanced knowledge of software design and modeling, and associated tools
Advanced knowledge of current application design patterns such as microservices and event driven architecture
Qualification
Required
Greater than 12 years of overall experience strategizing, engineering, and executing large IT initiatives spanning multiple lines of business and several stakeholders
5-7 years of management or leadership experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology in related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred
3-5 years of experience strategizing, engineering, configuring, and implementing Customer Identity and Access Management platforms, solutions and services along with source code management
