Responsibilities
Follow safe practices and rules
Follow GMPs and ensure drivers and anyone in the raw receiving bay are compliant
Receive fluid products (raw milk, condensed, OJ and cream)
Yard organization (oversee orderly receiving queue, moving trailers, etc.)
Load-out fluid skim and cream (count tank inventory, complete bulk tote filling, etc.)
Test raw product
CIP trailers, tanks, and lines
Keeping work area within 6-S standards
Follows SOPs
Keep proper Safety Chain records of sanitation and Process Control Sheet documentation
Clean and Sanitize equipment in compliance with SSOP’s and Safeway’s QA department
Keep work area clean and neat at all times
Comply with all 6S and HACCP requirements
Train new employees
Any other job as designated by the Foreman or Supervisor
Qualification
Required
You are 18 years of age or older
You enjoy working as a part of a larger team to make an impact
Ensuring a safe work environment is a priority to you
You take pride in the work you do, with every detail, whether big or small
You must be able to lift to 50 pounds
Being a part of your community matters
High School Degree or equivalent
Experience working in raw receiving
Have sampler graders license or able to pass licensing exam
Preferred
2 – 3 years of experience preferred
