They are seeking a Social Media Intern to assist with content creation and management across various social media platforms, while also engaging with the audience and analyzing performance metrics.

Responsibilities
Support the Senior Social Strategist, and the social department with the assistance of creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and X, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement
May also monitor site metrics, respond to user comments, and oversee coordination for content development
Brainstorm and assist with content calendar creation
Create and curate engaging social media content that resonates with our target audience — this includes being familiar with trending audio and editing video in-platform
Schedule content and manage social media accounts on various platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)
Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
Monitor social media analytics and provide actionable insights based on performance
Assist with social media campaigns and initiatives
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices — and write our weekly social newsroom
Qualification
Required
Must be a junior or senior in college majoring in communications, marketing, advertising, or media
Outstanding writer and communicator
Ability to create and curate engaging social media content
Familiarity with trending audio and editing video in-platform
Experience scheduling content and managing social media accounts on various platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)
Ability to engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
Experience monitoring social media analytics and providing actionable insights based on performance
Ability to assist with social media campaigns and initiatives
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
Preferred
Experience with content calendar creation
Experience writing a weekly social newsroom
