Responsibilities
Cultivate a culture of Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders that supports our business objectives and growth
Partner with the Senior Director of Payroll and Benefits in owning the full payroll process for our teams, from onboarding, pay changes, tips, adjustments, and final checks – ensuring payments are accurate and on time
Support payroll reporting and compliance across labor, PTO, benefits, and required filings, keeping records accurate and up to date
Be a trusted resource for employees, answering pay-related questions, distributing paychecks securely, and handling sensitive information with discretion
Uphold USHG standards by staying organized, maintaining clean and efficient workspaces, following established systems and policies, and pitching in on additional accounting needs as they arise
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in payroll processing and benefits administration, particularly within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Proficiency in payroll systems including UKG
Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to address employee concerns and collaborate across departments
